My journey as a photographer started off in an unconventional way. I bought my first camera so that I could shoot music videos of artists I anticipated working with (since I was a music producer outside of my regular 9-5 job).
Jael Joseph is a talented and vivacious entertainer, who has held numerous roles in Dominica’s media scene. She made her debut as coordinator of the Q95 Talent Search competition in 2010 but didn’t stop there.
The day I visited Syndicate was a happy one. The sun was out, there was modest cloud cover (perfect for capturing my timelapse sequences) and I most importantly, I stopped at the roadside bar called Everything For You Baby.
Night-to-day and day-to-night timelapse sequences are often called the holy grail of timelapse photography. That’s because it is difficult to capture the significant light changes without using cumbersome equipment or tedious strategies.
